There are many people out there that have the desire to learn freediving but run into an obstacle named Mr. Frenzel. I recently took Ted’s class and can tell you firsthand there is nobody that works harder at teaching the correct equalization method of freediving than Ted Harty. Number one, he make sure before you arrive at his class that you have the basics of the Frenzel maneuver down. He’ll schedule Skype sessions with you in advance to witness how you’re performing the Frenzel. That was my case. I was doing the Frenzel correctly, but still needed to improve on how I was doing it to make it more consistent. Ted work with me and another student who was also having problems after the session was over to make sure that we were doing it correctly. That is just one of the benefits of taking a class with Ted Harty. The other benefit is the size of his classes. There’s a maximum of five people in each of his classes. This means more chances to dive, fewer distractions, and overall a less stressful environment.
Add to that the fact that you get two ocean sessions instead of one ocean session and it all adds up to a better learning experience. Obviously, I highly recommend him.
